Launch of new name ‘Netherlands-Turkish Trade Foundation (NTTF)
The Netherlands-Turkish Trade Foundation (NTTF) has officially launched its new name, succeeding the former ‘Chamber of Commerce Netherlands – Turkey Foundation.’
This name change underscores the NTTF’s commitment and strengthened position as an economic bridge-builder between the Netherlands and Turkiye, leveraging its in-depth knowledge of the business culture.
The Dutch Embassy in Ankara has responded positively to the new name during the preparatory phase. This change aims to enhance transparency towards the NTTF’s partners, contributing to more effective communication and collaboration.
In preparation for the name change, the foundation conducted an analysis of the trade promotion activities of Dutch representations in Turkiye. This analysis was carried out by NTTF experts, including an AI-communication analyst, focusing on optimizing strategic objectives based on the needs and emerging opportunities within the business sector.
The NTTF will continue to serve as a coordination point, offering accessible, practical, and personalised support to Dutch companies seeking to enter the Turkish market.
This not-for-profit foundation operates from Rotterdam, working closely with commercial partners in Istanbul, such as the Holland Trade Center Istanbul (HTCI) and Turkish Dutch Trade Consulting (TDTC), utilizing reliable networks of local service providers.
*1) The previous name of the bilateral Chamber of Commerce, ‘Chamber of Commerce Netherlands-Turkey Foundation,’ often evoked associations with a local Chamber of Commerce. The new name, officially changed by notarial deed on August 21, 2024, is now the Netherlands-Turkish Trade Foundation. Registration number with the Chamber of Commerce: 57773599
